Reentry Resource Fair
Join my office, Councilmember At-Large Jim Harrity, Councilmember Jeffrey Young, and State Representative Malcolm Kenyatta, in partnership with the Urban League and the City of Philadelphia’s Division of Reentry, on Tuesday, August 11th from 11:00am–2:00pm at Bright Hope Baptist Church for a Reentry Resource Fair.
This event connects returning citizens with resources including employment, housing, healthcare, identification services, legal aid, and more. We will also be offering free professional headshots. Community organizations will be on-site offering direct support and, in many cases, the ability to begin paperwork or enrollment the same day.
The goal of this event is to celebrate returning citizens for making the first step to seek help, and to connect them directly with the organizations best equipped to support their next chapter.
