PHILADELPHIA, PA − June 16, 2026 – Senator Sharif Street (PA-3) is proud to announce over $1 million in Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) awards for schools in the 3rd Senate District.
“Investing in school safety and mental health ensures that students, educators, and other critical staff can have the peace of mind they need to thrive. Every school has different needs. The funds each school receive allows them to provide support in the areas that create the greatest impact for their community,” said Senator Street.
PCCD approved funding to help address school violence and improve student mental health for the following schools:

- Eugenio Maria De Hostos CS Charter School Philadelphia $70,000

- Laboratory CS Charter School Philadelphia $70,000
- Lindley Academy CS at Birney Charter School Philadelphia $70,000
- Mastery CS-Cleveland Elementary Charter School Philadelphia $70,000
- Mastery CS-Clymer Elementary Charter School Philadelphia $70,000
- Mastery CS-Gratz Campus Charter School Philadelphia $70,000
- Mastery Prep Elementary CS Charter School Philadelphia $70,000
