Senator Sharif Street Hosts Unclaimed Property Day to Help Residents Reclaim Lost Funds

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Senator Sharif Street is pleased to announce Unclaimed Property Days, a reoccurring event dedicated to helping Philadelphia residents and local businesses discover whether they are owed money by the Pennsylvania Department of Treasury. With more than $4 billion in unclaimed property currently waiting to be claimed statewide, this event offers a valuable opportunity for individuals to find funds they may not know they are entitled to.
The event will take place on:
Thursday, December 18th
10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Northern Living Center
827 N. Franklin St., Philadelphia, PA
Hosted in partnership with the Northern Living Center and North City Congress, trained staff will be on hand to assist attendees in searching the state Treasury’s database, completing claim forms, and answering questions.
“One in ten Pennsylvanians has unclaimed property waiting for them,” Senator Street said. “Whether it’s a forgotten bank account, an uncashed check, or other unclaimed funds, we want to make sure every resident gets back what belongs to them.”
Residents who cannot attend the event are encouraged to check for unclaimed property through any of the following options:
